Scott Carlin, Director:

Scott holds the Institute of Acoustics Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control, the British Institute of Occupational Hygiene P Certificate in Noise and Vibration and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics. Scott has eight years experience of noise monitoring for a number of industrial clients.

Dr Brian Gardner, Director:

Brian Gardner has first and research degree in environmental chemistry. He is a chartered chemist, and a member of IOSH and the Water Management Society. He holds the BOHS certificate of competency in asbestos. He has over 20 years' experience in providing HS&E technical consultancy services to clients across all sectors, and specialises in asbestos management, legionella risk managemenet, occupational hygiene, health and safety, contaminated land and air quality.

Roy Davis, Area Manager:

Roy holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Protection Sciences and Environmental Law and an MSc in Biological Crop Protection. He has experience in contaminated land remediation and water resource management. He worked for an aquatic research company in the fish department, on a number of projects for the EA and Scottish Hydro-Power and amongst others he is a Licentiate Member of the Institute of Fisheries Management. He also has almost seven years experience in the asbestos field as a Lead Surveyor and Analyst, Project Manager and most recently as manager of the Poole area office.

Glenn Bancroft, Consultant:

Glenn has attained an honours degree in biology and microbiology and a HND in Applied Biology. He is a Chartered Biologist and a Member of the Institute of Biology, 1982. He has over 15 years experience in pharmaceutical/science related industries and five years experience as a Lead Surveyor, Project Manager and monitoring asbestos removal and bulk anaysis.

Gordon Leggate, Consultant:

Gordon holds a B.Sc in General Science from the University of Glasgow and an M.Sc in Energy and Environmental Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. Gordon has over 3 years experience as a lead surveyor, air monitoring, asbestos removal, project management and bulk analysis. Gordon also has experience in noise monitoring and contaminated land investigations.

Chris Flynn, Consultant:

Chris joined the Edinburgh office in June 2005 after spending 2 years working for a Quality & Analytical laboratory. Whilst working for Ethos, Chris has received training in workplace and environmental noise assessments and stack emissions monitoring.Chris has been involved in all types of asbestos surveys and air testing, including asbestos work for the offshore industry. He also holds a BSA Certificate in Industrial Audiometry qualifying him to undertake hearing assessments.
